This 2-hour Introduction to Lace course will teach you the basics of lace knitting.  Together students will work a DK weight cowl with a leaf lace motif.  You will leave with the skills to complete your lace cowl and the foundations needed to take on more challenging lace patterns in the future.

Homework to complete before the start of class:

Cable Cast On 104 stitches.  Join to work in the round and place a unique marker to show BOR.

Purl 2 rounds.

Purchase before the start of class:

  • 1 skein (~250 yds) of DK weight yarn

  • 1 US 6 - 16” circular needle

  • Tapestry needle

  • Stitch markers

Falling Leaves Cowl by Jessica Park from Ravelry will be provided via email upon purchase of the class.

Materials for the class must be bought at Must Love Yarn.  Students will receive a 10% discount on the cost of supplies for the class.

Cancellations can be made for a complete refund 10 days before the date of the class. Must Love Yarn reserves the right to cancel the class if the minimum number of students is not met, at that time a full refund will be given to any students who have registered.
