Intermediate Sweater Class: Nordic Bloom
Dates: Wednesday - October 14th & 28th, November 11th, and December 2nd 2:00-4:00 PM
Join us for a guided sweater-making class featuring Nordic Bloom by Caitlin Hunter. This bottom-up, oversized layering piece features gorgeous stranded colorwork inspired by the bold floral motifs found in Scandinavian design. With its modern, comfortable fit, it’s a beautiful project for knitters looking to expand their skills while making something special.
Over the course of four sessions, we’ll work through the pattern together, learning to read and navigate the colorwork chart, manage multiple colors, and tackle the exciting technique of steeking. We will discuss gauge and measurements to create a sweater that fits the way you want it to, with plenty of guidance, troubleshooting, and individual help along the way.
Students can choose to make either the vest or cardigan.
