Knitting Techniques: Fixing Mistakes

Have you ever not finished a project because you didn't know how to fix a mistake? Maybe you've been knitting for a while now and can spot your mistakes but aren't sure if they can be fixed and if so, how do you go about fixing them? This class will take the mystery out of mistakes and how they are fixed!
What you'll learn:
- How to pick up dropped stitches
- How to un-knit or "tink"
- When to rip back or "frog"
- Yarn-overs - how to get rid of one you don't want and how to add one to a previous row
- Using lifelines
- Fixing a cable that is crossed the wrong way, many rows back
- And more!
Prerequisites: This class will be challenging but is open to knitters of all abilities.
Materials:
- Crochet Hook (something in the size range of E-H will be fine)
- Locking Stitch Markers
- Tapestry Needle
- Scrap yarn
- A set of double pointed needles (something in a US 7 or smaller)
- Also, if you have projects that you are working on that have mistakes, feel free to bring them along and if we have time at the end of class, we'll work to identify and fix the mistake!
- Be sure to bring a pen and paper for taking notes too!
A 15% discount will be given on all supplies required for the class.
Cancellations can be made for a complete refund 10 days before the date of the class, after that time only store credit in the form of a gift card will be issued.
Minimum of 2 students
Maximum of 8 students
