Summer Shirt Together (04/11, 05/09, & 06/06/2026)
This class is a 3-part series with approximately one month in between sessions.

Spring is approaching, and knitting takes time, so despite the snow outside, it may be time to start your summer staples. Spring and summer knitting can be just as enjoyable as knitting for fall or winter; come see for yourself in this Summer Shirt Together. This class is designed to guide students through the process of knitting one of three available patterns, with skill-building steps incorporated throughout. All of the available patterns are knit flat. Students will work with either DK or worsted weight yarn to knit the Streamline Tee or Tank, or Insouciant. The pattern will be provided to students as part of the class fee.
This class will take place in three sessions. In the first session, we will focus on getting started and discussing the construction of each student’s chosen top. In the second session, we will cover neckline shaping and sleeves. In the third and final session, we will cover seaming and finishing techniques.This class is ideal for knitters who are comfortable with basic knit and purl stitches and are ready to try something new. Students will leave with the skills needed to knit flat pieces and seam them together to create garments with excellent structure and less tendency to stretch out over time.
Materials Needed:
- Yarn yardage and needle size will vary depending on pattern choice and size worked, please consult our sales associates to help pick appropriate materials
- Stitch markers, darning needle, and tape measure

Cancellations can be made for a complete refund 10 days before the date of the class. Must Love Yarn reserves the right to cancel the class if the minimum number of students is not met, at that time a full refund will be given to any students who had registered.
